I’m finally getting around to sharing our little boy’s nursery! I’m so in love with it all turned out. After having two girls it was a nice change from all the girly pink things. I went with a warm color palette and sort of a safari theme. Nothing over the top, but little touches of earthy details and warm tones helped to bring that vibe to life. I hope you all love how it turned out. I’ll have links to everything beneath all the photos! I also added my video to the end of this post!Read More
I'm so excited to share with you our nursery for our twin girls! They were born December 16th at 1:08 and 1:09 and life has definitely changed around here! I had so much fun decorating this room for them. It was nice to be able to go slightly more feminine and girly than the rest of our house. I added touches of rose gold and floral patterns to give it a vintage vibe, and added in some wood elements to keep it balanced.Read More
Finally I am here to share my baby shower photos with you all! It was such a beautiful (and hot) day with so much love! Our shower was held in Fallbrook, CA at Myrtle Creek Nursery. There was a tented area where we set everything up. But I'd recommend coming by this nursery for lunch sometime because it is such an adorable spot. You order lunch and it's put in a picnic basket for you to take anywhere on the nursery to enjoy. We had around 45 people attend the shower from friends to family. The main thing I wanted was a romantic and rustic vibe, and it truly was just that. My mom found the pink table runners on amazon, and her and a friend made the plant party favors. The tags were from Etsy. Our plates, flatware and glassware were from Casa de Perrin and completely made the tables! My dad cut a ton of eucalyptus from their backyard and we used that on top of the runners along with homemade flower arrangements in mason jars.
My dress is from Asos maternity and I absolutely loved it. I ordered a size up (because I'm gaining a whole lot of weight with these twins). But I think I'll be able to where it post babies too. And my shoes are from Sole Society, which I where with pretty much everything. Where heals was a big deal for me. They came off right when the shower was over, don't get me wrong! My feet were aching bad! Lately my whole body has been super achy and I am ready for the babies to come out already!
I'll have a video on some of the things I got at the shower, because I know a lot of you want to see! But for now here is a short video of the shower. I hope you all enjoy!
Hey guys! I'm so excited to share this post with you. Our bedroom is practically complete now so I wanted to show you our 'nook' area. Before we had nothing here and I had envisioned something very calming and relaxing.Read More
Merry Christmas Eve everyone! This morning I wanted to share some pictures of our holiday decor! I felt like this was such a long holiday season full of parties, decorating and so much sugar! Andrew and I were at Disneyland the other day and it was swamped with people.Read More
Next up in my gift guide series is The Hostess! You all know I love home decor. Moving into our first home is what really kickstarted it. I find so much joy browsing around HomeGoods or searching online for the perfect rug.Read More
So I'm fully aware that it's still November, but I'm so ready for Christmas. I walked through Target yesterday and couldn't stop staring at all their holiday decor. If you like metallics and white, you need to go take a look at their new things. I was just scrolling through Joss & Main, which has become a morning ritual now, and got sucked into the Christmas stuff.Read More
All we have in our bedroom currently is a linen tufted bed, teal tufted settee (we had it custom upholstered, but the one above is similar) and mismatched bedside tables. I wanted to put together some decor ideas that I've been really into lately.Read More
Hey guys! So today I wanted to show you the magic of paint. White paint specifically. When we moved into our new home, all the windows were trimmed out, which I definitely think adds a lot of character. However, the trim was a dark stained wood. A little 80's for my taste.Read More
Hey guys! Long time no talk! We are slowly but surely getting settled into our new home. It's nice to actually make a mood board that will work with our space. It's fun to look on pinterest and see things you like, but you can't really start planning a room until you are in it!Read More
